Ernie Carwile was born in Munich, Germany and has lived throughout the world. He is a graduate of the University of Missouri and the Iliff School of Theology in Denver, Colorado. After high school he sold cemetery plots door-to-door in Hannibal, Missouri, and while attending college, he drove a truck for Peabody Coal Mine. Mr. Carwile has been an Air Force Officer, heavyweight boxer, and a Methodist and Congregational minister.As a celebrated author and master storyteller, Carwile has been featured extensively in the national media including Good Morning America, Inside Edition, CNN, Associated Press, E!Online, Court TV, Clear Channel Radio, The Los Angeles Times, Rocky Mountain News, and many Denver television and radio shows.
He lives in Denver, Colorado with his award-winning author and wife, Mary Catherine Carwile. Their loving, yellow lab, Tally, who had been with them nearly 13 years passed on just before this book’s completion, leaving a hole in their hearts the size of the Grand Canyon.
